A comma is a bit like a parenthesis - the mark is named after the thing marked off, albeit with change of number for parenthesis.
A comma was originally a short clause, just as a parenthesis was originally (and rarely, still is) an aside.

As Volvo is Latin for I roll, his answer will probably be "Volvo is the first word of the sentence translated as 'I roll baby Jesus down a very muddy hill, and when he gets to the bottom, I jump up and down on him, pulverising him into the dust'."

I saw this and thought it was quite interesting. I agree what it seems ok from many areas that Jewish seem to be a group that its almost ok to give shit to and there.is pretty rife anti semitism. (Yes Jeremy corban, your ears are burning).
Personally I dodnt think the jason lee thing was a racial joke though. It was all to do with that chant about a pineapple being on his head (which I pretty sure we invented about Jamie Lawrence or someone??). Jason Lee claimed it was that that ruined his career (and not being shit at football)

I never realised Baddiel was a jew? He’s never mentioned it before.
He did an article in the telegraph on this and they had to pull the comments after about 20 minutes.

The article & tv show come from a BOOK D Baddiel wrote with the same title.
Book was well received I think making the point that discrimination against Jews doesnt seem to attract the same condemnation as against other groups.
The first change from this should be heavy penalties against football fans in N17 who continually chant a vile slur against Jewish people. Points deductions & ground closure for a season.

And on that part I 100% agree with him. Its especially galling as certain groups can't even be mentioned without fear of reprisal ;÷ it cancellation or violence.
Saw a quote a while back (think it was bill mahr) referring to the show book of morman, something like
"I'm not saying all Muslims are violent, but if someone had opened a show called "the book of mohammed" its certain that someone would have violently reacted."
Christians, Mormons etc seem to be fair game, others aren't. The Jewish community however comes in for absolute hatred from certain people, but that rarely gets mentioned and some... cough jeremy corbyn.. cough are pretty open about it. The labour party was a disgrace under him regarding anti semitism. Israel seems to be the get out clause on this. Which is like saying all Muslims support Al queda.
And I have no affinity with Jews or the Jewish community. As an outsider this is what I've noticed
